RAYAKAN HUT KE-78 KEMERDEKAAN RI, IAIN KENDARI TAMPILKAN ADAT BUDAYA SULAWESI TENGGARA
Kendari, Humas – Institut Agama Islam Negeri Kendari memeriahkan perayaan HUT Ke-78 Kemerdekaan RI dengan menampilkan adat budaya Sulawesi Tenggara melalui pakaian adat dan persembahan tari daerah yang dilaksanakan di Pelataran Gedung Kuliah Terpadu, Kamis (17/8/23).
Rektor IAIN Kendari Dr. Husain Insawan, M.Ag yang bertindak selaku pembina upacara mengenakan baju adat Muna Sulawesi Tenggara. Dalam sambutannya, ia mengatakan bahwa menghormati keberagaman budaya dan tradisi daerah merupakan bagian dari internalisasi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama.
Setelah upacara, kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan persembahan Ewa Muna dan Tari Linda yang merupakan tarian adat Muna oleh Rektor bersama istri yang menambah semarak suasana perayaan tersebut.
Selain itu, digelar lomba fashion show yang diikuti oleh seluruh fakultas, lembaga, dan unit. Peserta menampilkan baju adat dari berbagai daerah di Sulawesi Tenggara antara lain baju adat Tolaki, Muna, Buton, Moronene, Mekongga, serta baju adat Nusantara lainnya seperti baju adat Bugis, Jawa, Sunda, Nusa Tenggara Timur dan Sumatera. Seluruh peserta antusias menunjukkan semangat toleransi dan konsistensi untuk hidup bersama dalam Bhineka Tunggal Ika.
Perayaan HUT Ke-78 RI di IAIN Kendari telah digelar sejak 11 Agustus 2023 lalu dengan melaksanakan berbagai jenis lomba antara lain bulutangkis, bola voli, tenis meja, lomba makan kerupuk mencari teman, dan lomba kebersihan.
Kegiatan diakhiri dengan pengumuman dan penyerahan hadiah bagi pemenang lomba yang telah digelar dalam rangka HUT Ke-78 Kemerdekaan RI tahun ini.
